OPTICS TECHNOLOGY Class III Bio safety cabinet offers the highest level of operator, product and environmental protection from infectious/biohazardous aerosols and is suitable for microbiological work. Designed for an absolute level of containment, it is frequently used for work involving the deadliest bio-hazards. A Class III cabinet is defined as a totally enclosed, ventilated cabinet with leak-tight construction it is also called glove boxes. The cabinet is maintained under negative pressure and supply air is drawn in through HEPA filters. A supply of HEPA filtered air provides product protection and prevents cross contamination of samples while exhaust air is HEPA-filtered and incinerated.
